I Fall To Pieces
 

The Archival Gallery is proud to present ‘’ I Fall to Pieces,” an exhibit featuring mosaics and collage. The exhibit opens with a “Second Saturday” reception on Feb. 11th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the gallery's space on Folsom Blvd. in East Sacramento. The gallery space was renovated in January for this exciting show.

Mariellen Layne practices the pique-assiette setting style of mosaic art -- eliciting remembrances of things in our past that are broken or lost, only to be pieced-back-together and found. Her organic two-and three-dimensional forms are composed primarily of the discards of a man-made world.
